About

I began practicing law in 2009 after graduating from John Marshall Law School and passing the Georgia Bar. Prior to obtaining my Juris Doctorate, I received a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Kennesaw State University in 2003 and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Social Science Education from the University of Georgia in 1999.

I am driven to pursue a career in law based on my desire to serve the community and make legal services accessible to the hard working citizens of North Georgia. Many lawyers confuse clients with troublesome legal jargon and fee structures that often leave clients stunned. I want to correct these problems.

Before practicing law, I served the citizens of Bartow County for 10 years working as a high school history teacher. I was appointed chair the Social Studies department in 2008 and focused my efforts on ensuring opportunities for all students by seeking to increase standardized test scores. In ten years as an educator, I have honed a dedicated work ethic, an uncanny patience, and an ability to communicate complicated topics.

I maintain a lifelong commitment to education, service, and empowering others to help themself.
